Position:  Dyslexia Therapy – Certified Academic Language Therapist/Qualified Instructor/Adjunct

Effective Date: June 1, 2024

Qualifications:

Required

1.  Master’s Degree in Dyslexia Therapy.

2.  Certified Academic Language Therapy certification (CALT) through ALTA.

3.  Qualified Instructor certification (CALT-QI).

4.  Have successfully completed Neuhaus training.

5.  Ability to work effectively with students, other Divisional staff, and other University offices.

6.  Strong work ethic and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desired

  1. Work experience in higher education or K-12 environment.
  2. Work experience as a Qualified Instructor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach online Dyslexia Therapy courses each term.
  2. Mentor instructors becoming qualified instructors.
  3. Perform other related duties as assigned by appropriate administrators.
