Financial Aid, Scholarships & Grants

Get the Financial Support You Need

The University of West Alabama offers a full range of loans, scholarships, grants, and part-time employment to assist students in meeting educational costs. Approximately 89% of UWA students receive financial aid to support their studies. The Financial Aid Office assists students and their families in tailoring financial aid packages to cover the costs of tuition, fees, books, housing and meals, personal expenses and travel. The student’s financial aid must be completed at least 10 days prior to the start of each term to charge the costs against their financial aid.
