Career Development
The Office of Career Development offers free support to help students prepare for rewarding careers. They post job opportunities, host career fairs, and conduct mock interviews. Services include both on-campus and virtual professional development, connecting students with employers for internships, job shadowing, and employment. They provide guidance on resume writing, social media networking, and workplace conduct.

Division of Lifelong Learning and Economic & Workforce Development
The Division of Lifelong Learning and Economic and Workforce Development advances UWA’s regional impact by expanding workforce development, community-focused education, and economic engagement. Through applied learning, academic innovation, and strategic partnerships, the Division strengthens institutional sustainability while supporting the long-term resilience and growth of the region.
Division of Student Affairs
A great deal of what you learn during your college years and most of your favorite memories will take place outside the classroom. Our mission is to support and enhance your “out-of-class” experience through programming, student organizations, counseling, campus housing, activities and through the services you need with scholarships, financial aid, advisement, transcripts and orientation.
Human Resources
UWA’s Human Resources Department supports the faculty and staff in a way that allows everyone to simultaneously strive to meet his or her goals while accomplishing the designed objectives of the University. The office provides Training and development opportunities and resources for onboarding, administering salary and benefits and implementing policies and procedures.
Julia Tutwiler Library
Yes, the library has books. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You’ll find technology for a variety of uses, including research and writing guides, special collections and so much more.
Information Technology
Information Technology works in partnership with all areas of the University to ensure all systems function as needed to ensure UWA’s goal of providing “the total educational experience.”
Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning conducts comprehensive data collection, analysis and reporting and university-wide assessment to support strategic planning and institutional effectiveness.
Sponsored Programs and Research
The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR) provides assistance to faculty, staff and students seeking external funds through proposal development and aids in the management of awarded grants.
Communications & Marketing
The Office of Communications & Marketing builds the UWA brand by communicating with integrity, efficiency and creativity. We share the stories of UWA students, faculty, and staff, grow our scholarly reputation and work to serve our community, state, region and beyond.
Printing Services
UWA Printing Services provides the University and surrounding communities with high-quality printing, graphic design, copying, mailing, binding and a host of other graphic visual products.
Registrar
The Registrar’s Office provides a wide range of services to students, faculty and staff, alumni, and various off-campus agencies and accurately maintains and protects students’ permanent records.
