We are committed to assisting limited-income, first-generation, and disabled college students in their educational journey through student support programs like TRIO SSS (Student Support Services) Scholars. For those who don’t qualify, we offer an alternative academic assistance program called UWA Cares. This program provides tutoring, printing services, monitored study halls and other valuable resources to support your academic success.
The University of West Alabama advising takes a holistic approach to the development of the student through a mutual academic relationship between the advisor and the student, which includes academic advising, career exploration and identification of campus and community resources.
