Description: The collection consists of an incomplete run of small scrapbook type newspapers from the Bellamy school in Sumter County, Alabama. Students at the school created the newspapers monthly during the years, 1934 to 1944. The bulk of the collection consists of papers from the years 1940 and 1941. Information found in the papers include world news, local events, names of students on the newspaper staff, notes from various grade levels, artwork by the students, essays on various topics, and jokes. Some of the newspapers are undated, missing pages, or incomplete.
Also includes yearbooks from Livingston Elementary and High School.
