Our goal is to enable students, faculty and staff to access many services on campus using their Tiger Card (the UWA ID card). The Tiger Card is currently used for the Young Cafeteria (with a valid meal plan), printing and copying in the library and computer labs, Starbucks, Subway, Burgers + Fries, University Cinema, laundry (Gilbert, Stickney, Hoover), specific Coke-brand vending machines and off-campus merchants. The Tiger Card also serves as the University library card.
Tiger Card Usage
During the Fall and Spring semesters, students taking seven (7) or more on campus credit hours will receive Tiger Bucks ($100.00) and Dining Dollars ($250.00). Tiger Bucks and Dining Dollars are debit-like accounts, accessed using the Tiger Card.
Tiger Bucks can be used everywhere while Dining Dollars can only be used at Young Cafeteria, Starbucks, Subway and Burgers + Fries. Tiger Bucks roll over from semester to semester and are always available to you. However, any unused Dining Dollars are swept at the end of the Spring semester, so make sure you spend them!
Any questions can be directed to tigercard@uwa.edu or call (205) 652-3565, option 2.
