Position:  Full-time Instructor/Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics

Effective Date:  August 8, 2024

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field.
  2. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
  3. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic/ethnic backgrounds.

Desired:

  1. Successful experience in teaching mathematics at both the secondary and college levels.
  2. Successful teaching in a small student-centered regional university setting.
  3. Experience and interest in computer technologies and instruction.
  4. Experience with online courses.

Responsibilities

  1. Teach twelve hours of mathematics courses each semester (possible combination of on-campus and online courses).
  2. Serve on departmental and University committees as needed. 
  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairperson and Dean.

Salary:  Dependent upon training and experience; includes excellent health benefits package.
