The Office of International Programs at the University of West Alabama is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate student to join our team as a Graduate Assistant beginning in the Fall of 2024. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of international education while supporting the mission of our institution.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate student currently enrolled at the University of West Alabama.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week at the International Programs House, with possible weekend hours.

Duties:

  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of international student programs and events.
  • Provide support to international students with inquiries related to university resources, services, and activities.
  • Conduct research and assist with the development of materials related to international education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with staff on marketing and outreach efforts to promote international programs and opportunities.
  • Help maintain accurate records and databases related to international student enrollment and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Office of International Programs staff.
