Qualifications:
Required:
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-Accredited Institution.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching in non-traditional formats (blended and online courses).
- Ongoing, demonstrated involvement in the profession as a counselor educator is expected (e.g., membership in ACA, AMHCA, ACES).
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, and administration.
- Commitment to quality teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to participate in regularly scheduled meetings on-campus as required.
Desired:
- Proficiency in using a learning management system.
- Evidence of scholarly research and grant writing.
- Experience teaching to diverse populations.
- School counseling certification.
Responsibilities:
- Teach four counseling graduate courses per term.
- Mentor/Advise students in the counseling programs.
- Serve as Lead Teacher on assigned courses.
- Perform other tasks as required by the appropriate administrators.
Salary: Salary is dependent upon training and experience. Includes excellent medical and retirement benefits package.
