Diploma Mailing

1. 1. Diplomas for all candidates, contingent upon final grade submission and degree verification, will be mailed to the diploma address specified on the online degree application approximately 6-8 weeks following the commencement ceremony. Please note that diplomas reflect degree types only. Once mailed diplomas should arrive within 10 -14 business days at the graduate’s home address.

      • If it has been more than four weeks since your diploma should have arrived according to the distribution schedule and you still reside at the mailing address listed on your online degree application, please contact commencement@uwa.edu.

      • Note: Certificate candidates are completing a certificate and therefore do not receive a diploma upon program completion.

   2. International fee with international address - $100

      • Diplomas sent to international addresses are shipped via regular international US postal service, which does not include tracking information.

      • Be aware that diploma tubes must pass through the destination country’s Customs Office, which can significantly delay delivery.

   3. Policy for returned diplomas

      • “In situations where diplomas are returned as undeliverable, we will contact the student using his or her UWA email address. Diplomas will be held for one calendar year after the graduation date of the student and then destroyed. Students must then order a re-issued diploma at the cost of a replacement diploma.”

All communication regarding your degree progress and commencement activities will be sent to your UWA email account.
