The Accounting, Finance, and Economics Department provides a quality education in preparation for jobs in accounting and financial-related careers. The Department has a successful history of placing qualified students in internships and other experiential learning opportunities while working toward degree completion.
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree provides students with the necessary education to prepare for accounting careers and graduate school. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree provides business students the required courses to qualify for financial-related careers — including corporate finance, commercial banking, insurance services, investment management, real estate, financial planning, and other related job opportunities — as well as preparation for graduate school.
The Accounting Club, Finance Club, and ENACTUS are College of Business organizations that accounting and finance students are encouraged to join as active members. These organizations provide enriching service and leadership opportunities including interactive guest speaker programs, career-related workshops, competitive award events, field trips, fundraising projects and community service activities.
