English majors may choose between the conventional English major (the B. S. or B. A. degree) or the English Language Arts major, which, in conjunction with the College of Education, prepares students for teaching in the public schools. Students majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications take courses in marketing and mass communications to prepare for careers in advertising, public relations, journalism, multi-media, and marketing.
