• UWA Alerts

    The University of West Alabama utilizes a state-of-the-art emergency notification system called UWA Alerts. This system will allow you to receive timely notification should an emergency situation affect the UWA area. You can receive alerts via email, text messaging, land-line and/or cell phone. This system is voluntary, although we strongly encourage everyone to sign up so that you can be notified in case of emergency. Standard charges for incoming calls and text messages apply (Please check with your provider if you have questions concerning those charges).

    UWA Alerts is available to current faculty, staff and students only. As long as you are at UWA, your account will remain active. If you should leave UWA for an extended period (missing an entire semester), your UWA Alerts account will be deactivated. Should you return to UWA, your account will be reactivated and you should sign in and make sure your contact information is up-to-date.
