Dear Colleagues
I choose to give to our University because it has played such a meaningful role in my life—both personally and professionally. Supporting UWA allows me to give back to the place that has given so much to me and to help ensure future generations have the same opportunities. I hope you will join me in supporting our University in a campaign that celebrates who we are, what we value, and what we can achieve together: the 2025 Employee Giving Campaign, aptly named “Our University.”
This year, our goal is bold and heartfelt: 100% participation from all employees. This isn’t about how much we give—it’s about the collective impact we can make when we each choose to invest in UWA, in our students, and in one another.

The Tartt field renovations have made a huge impact on game play, the ability to play in inclement weather, the game day experiences for fans, recruiting efforts, and more. We as players are blessed to get to play every day on the best surface in the GSC. There are lots of Division 1 programs that don't have these types of facilities. And we also have a university and a community that supports its programs and are willing to invest in us!
Receiving this scholarship has been life-changing for me. I’ve been able to fully engage and focus on my cellular and molecular biology studies, pursue meaningful opportunities, and work toward my future goals without the constant stress of financial burdens. I am incredibly grateful to the donors who make these scholarships possible. It truly makes a difference in students’ lives.
The addition of the new soccer field has made a big impact on us as players. It’s more than just a new field; it’s a space dedicated to the game we love, and that alone has motivated us to work harder every day. It’s also brought our team a greater sense of pride and excitement, knowing we have a facility that reflects our hard work and dedication.

The Our University Employee Giving Campaign is a campus-wide initiative that invites UWA employees to invest financially in the institution we serve every day. It’s an opportunity for faculty and staff to show their pride in UWA and contribute to the programs, scholarships, and areas that matter most to them.
Employee giving is more than a donation — it’s a statement of belief in UWA’s mission, people, and potential. When we give, we’re not just supporting programs or scholarships; we’re actively shaping the future of the University and the lives of our students.
The Employee Giving Campaign brings our UWA community together to show pride, support student success, and invest in the University’s future. By increasing participation and directing gifts toward key priorities, we demonstrate unity and a shared belief in our mission. This year, our goal is 100% participation among all university employees.
You can support the Employee Giving Campaign through payroll deduction, online giving, or by check–whichever works best for you. And don’t forget to send a High-Five to a colleague to show your appreciation and celebrate the spirit of giving across campus!
No! It matters that you give, not how much. Every gift, no matter the size, is a vote of confidence in UWA’s mission and our shared commitment to making a difference.
You can direct your gift to the area of UWA that matters most to you. A list of commonly supported funds is available on the online donation form, or you can contact the Development Office for help identifying a fund that aligns with your interests.
Yes–and we say thank you! Any gift made during the current fiscal year (October 1 through September 30) counts toward your participation in the Employee Giving Campaign.
The Our University Employee Giving Campaign runs annually throughout the duration of UWA’s fiscal year (October 1 – September 30).
Yes. Gifts made to the UWA Foundation through the Employee Giving Campaign are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The details of your gift are handled with care and confidentiality. Your individual giving amount is never shared publicly, and participation may be reported in summary form (e.g., by department or unit) to recognize collective support–not individual donors.
