Why Major in Music?
A UWA music major gets you a solid, broad-based, college education. Music is a significant area of focus, but, not its sole focus. Students major in music for lots of good reasons: preparing for graduate studies, being a pro musician in the local scene, doing a music business, being a music technician. Still, others want training in music because it is their passion, not necessarily their main job. Some want to do music in their church, or want to be educators. A UWA music degree is flexible to help you discover, then reach your unique vision.
