Hosting an On-Campus Event

Need to host an event but not sure the proper steps? Follow below!  

 

#1 Request a Facility

  • Make sure to plan ahead reservations must be made 10 days in advance

  • Visit UWA.edu

  • Click "Current Students, Faculty and Staff"

  • Under "Technology" click "Event Facility Request Form"

  • Choose "West Alabama Students: Request an Event"

  • Fill out the form + click submit

  • Wait for a "Requested event has been approved" email from "notifications@aais.com"

 

#2 Promote Your On- Campus Event

  • Must be a recognized student organization through the UWA SGA.

  • Must have registered your organization for the current year.

  • Must submit this form 48 hours before the event, or we cannot guarantee it will go out.

  • If the event is on campus you must have filled out a facility reservation and the event must appear on the University calendar
