High School Transcripts
Submit official high school transcripts from each high school attended. Students who are currently enrolled in high school will be required to submit their final transcript (including proof of high school graduation) prior to enrolling at UWA. This is required of all first time freshmen and transfer students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum).
Testing Scores
UWA accepts either ACT or SAT test scores. Please specify UWA on each test application (ACT code #0024; SAT code #1737). If you did not have your test scores sent to UWA directly through the testing center, check with your guidance counselor to find out if test scores are included on your high school transcripts. If not, call ACT at 319.337.1270 or SAT at 866.756.7346 to have your scores sent to UWA. At least one of these scores is required for acceptance for students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum).
Student Health Services
For the safety of our campus community, all students are required to have certain up-to-date immunizations before arriving on campus. As such, all new students must verify their immunization and medical histories through the Immunization Record and Medical History completed through Student Medical Report and Immunization Form. Failure to comply will result in an inability to register for classes or participate in activities such as athletics, band, cheerleading, or residence hall move-in. Visit http://www.uwa.edu/medical for more details.
College Transcripts
Submit official transcripts from each college/university previously attended. Students who are currently enrolled at another institution will be required to submit their final transcript prior to enrolling at UWA. Transcripts can be mailed to: Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management, UWA Station 4, Livingston, AL 35470.
