High School Transcripts

Submit official high school transcripts from each high school attended. Students who are currently enrolled in high school will be required to submit their final transcript (including proof of high school graduation) prior to enrolling at UWA. This is required of all first time freshmen and transfer students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum).

Testing Scores

UWA accepts either ACT or SAT test scores. Please specify UWA on each test application (ACT code #0024; SAT code #1737). If you did not have your test scores sent to UWA directly through the testing center, check with your guidance counselor to find out if test scores are included on your high school transcripts. If not, call ACT at 319.337.1270 or SAT at 866.756.7346 to have your scores sent to UWA. At least one of these scores is required for acceptance for students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum).

Student Health Services

For the safety of our campus community, all students are required to have certain up-to-date immunizations before arriving on campus. As such, all new students must verify their immunization and medical histories through the Med+Proctor system. Failure to comply will result in an inability to register for classes or participate in activities such as athletics, band, cheerleading, or residence hall move-in. Visit for more details.

College Transcripts

Submit official transcripts from each college/university previously attended. Students who are currently enrolled at another institution will be required to submit their final transcript prior to enrolling at UWA. Transcripts can be mailed to: Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management, UWA Station 4, Livingston, AL 35470.

Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

Students wishing to apply for financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available in January of each year. For more information contact the Financial Aid Center at 205.652.3576 or visit us on the web.

Complete your ZeeMee profile (Optional)

At UWA, we want to get to know our applicants better. That’s why we’ve partnered with ZeeMee, a free service that lets you easily add short videos and photos to your college application. Through ZeeMee, you can tell us more about your interests, accomplishments, and challenges that you’ve overcome both inside and outside the classroom.

You may create your free profile at and paste your unique link into your UWA admissions application. Please note that submitting a ZeeMee profile is completely optional, but it’s also a fun way to set yourself apart and share your story with us. We’re excited to learn more about you!
