TED Talk Tuesdays
The acronym TED, represents “Technology, Entertainment, and Design,” and is considered a “platform for ideas worth spreading” on a variety of topics (e.g., education, business, global issues, science, etc.).
A TED Talk is hosted by a UWA faculty member, who volunteers to lead a discussion about their favorite TED Talk, one Tuesday each month in the Tutwiler Conference Center in Lyon Hall. The talk offers an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to engage in discussion and critical thinking, over pizza and refreshments.
If you are interested in volunteering to lead a TED Talk, contact Dr. Celeste Wheat.
