Assistant Volleyball Coach


 

Effective Date:  Review of applications will begin on December 12, 2022, and continue until the position is filled.

Position:  The UWA Office of Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Volleyball Coach.

Qualifications:

Essential:

1.         Bachelor’s Degree required.

2.         Excellent communication and organizational skills.

3.         Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed academically.

4.        Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, coaching staff, students and alumni.

Desired:

1.         Master’s Degree in P.E. or related field.       

2.         Two years coaching experience preferred.

3.         College coaching and recruiting experience in the Southeast.

4.         Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1.         On-the-court coaching responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach.

2.         Recruiting duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

3.         Assist with financial aid and eligibility matters for student-athletes.
