Software Analyst

Effective Date: October 1, 2019, or sooner




  1. Bachelor's degree in CIS, business or a related field

  2. Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a wide range of constituencies, including faculty, staff and students

  3. Ability to work alone or in a team environment

  4. Demonstrated ability to multitask

  5. Maintain excellent customer service


  1. Master's degree in CIS, business or a related field

  2. Experience supporting software systems

  3. Experience with training on software systems and writing technical documentation



  1. Manage and support software systems including Ellucian Colleague, Softdocs' Etrieve/Central, Campus Management's Radius and iData's Hub

  2. Write technical documentation for support systems for internal and external purposes

  3. Provide one-on-one and group training sessions for supported systems

  4. Assist with marketing efforts within the department to all constituencies by creating flyers and digital signage

  5. Assist with continuous updates to the IT website

  6. Special projects as directed

  7. Other duties as assigned
