Full-time Faculty in Physics (open rank)

Effective Date: August 1, 2020




  1. Master's degree in Physics or related field

  2. Commitment to quality teaching

  3. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff and students from varied socio-economic/ethnic backgrounds   


  1. Ph.D. in Physics or related field

  2. Successful teaching in a small student-centered regional university setting


  1. Teach physics courses and labs: College Physics and Technical Physics

  2. Serve on departmental and University committees

  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairperson and Dean

  4. Fulfill other duties expected of a faculty member, such as student advising, departmental recruitment, outreach activities, public service, etc.

Salary: Dependent upon training and experience; includes excellent health benefits package
