Qualifications:

Required:

  1. PhD in Management or closely related field, from an ACBSP or AACSB regionally accredited institution. ABD's will be considered.
  2. A minimum of 18 hours of graduate course work in teaching discipline or related field.
  3. Administrative experience as Department Chair or equivalent leadership role.

  4. Evidence of successful college teaching experience.

  5. Evidence of successful research or scholarly activity.

  6. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.

  7. Practical knowledge of Blackboard learning systems.

  8. Evidence of excellence in teaching and outreach.

  9. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.

Desired:

  1. Administrative experience as Department Chair or equivalent leadership role.

  2. Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.

  3. Interest in technology-enhanced and competency based classroom instruction.

  4. Experience in regional higher education environment.

  5. Experience with course and curriculum development.

  6. Active participation in professional organizations and community service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach four courses in discipline per term unless release time is authorized.

  2. Teach other courses for which qualified when assigned, on-campus or online.

  3. Student advising, committee assignments, appropriate public service, research, professional development, and other tasks as assigned

  4. Perform other duties as assigned by The Department Chairperson and/or Dean.

 

Rank and Salary: Based on degree and years of work related experience.
