Instructional Leadership (non-tenure-track, open rank) Online Liaison

Effective Date: August 10, 2021



  1. Earned doctorate in Instructional Leadership or a related field
  2. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, administration, and public school personnel
  3. Commitment to quality teaching
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Successful experience in P-12 administration
  6. At least three years of successful P-12 teaching experience


  1. Demonstrated effectiveness in working with Professional Development Schools
  2. Demonstrated effectiveness in applying technology to teaching
  3. Evidence of scholarly research and grant writing
  4. Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level
  5. Online teaching experience


  1. Teach online graduate-level courses in the Instructional Leadership or Teacher Leader programs
  2. Teach other professional courses as needed
  3. Schedule at least ten virtual office hours over a four day period each week and work on campus for at least five hours each week (one day)
  4. Participate in departmental and other committee meetings (virtually)
  5. Fulfill other faculty responsibilities, including mentoring students, conducting scholarly research and participating in University and community service and service to local schools
  6. Perform other tasks as required by the appropriate administrators


Salary: Dependent upon training and experience; includes excellent benefits package.
