Assistant Professor of Mathematics (tenure-track)

Effective Date: August 11, 2020




  1. Ph.D. in Mathematics or Mathematics Education

  2. Successful experience in teaching mathematics at the college level

  3. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching

  4. Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic/ethnic backgrounds


  1. Successful teaching in a small student-centered regional university setting

  2. Experience and interest in computer technologies and instruction

  3. Experience with online courses

  4. The ability and willingness to offer online graduate level mathematics courses


  1. Teach twelve hours of mathematics courses each semester (possible combination of on-campus and online courses)

  2. Serve on departmental and University committees

  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairperson and Dean


Salary: Dependent upon training and experience; includes excellent health benefits package
