Housing Room Change Waiting Lists This form is for returning UWA students and new transfer students that wish to have their names placed on the fall semester Waiting Lists for Room Changes. Since vacancies open from time-to-time in the various residence halls, waiting lists have been created for each residence hall. Only students who have already been assigned to a residence hall for the fall semester may fill out this form. NOTE: This form may only be used until August 20th since the Waiting Lists are only used to fill vacancies through the first week of fall semester classes. Waiting List priority for current UWA students is based on the student's GPA and hours earned, as recorded by the UWA Registrar's Office. Priority also takes into consideration the date that the student's housing application was received by the Housing Office (if received after April 7th). Since all new freshmen are required to live in Gilbert Hall, first year freshmen cannot sign up on the Waiting Lists. If your name comes up on a Waiting List, you will be sent an e-mail, asking if you wish to accept the new room assignment. You will be given 48 hours to respond. Failure to respond (accept or decline) within the required number of hours will result in a cancellation of the offer and the removal of your name from the Waiting Lists. For this reason, you are strongly encouraged to check your e-mail at least once a day. If you accept an offered space and you are re-assigned to a new room, your name will be removed from the Waiting Lists. If you wish to have your name on the Waiting List for a different building, you must fill out this form again after being notified that your room change has been approved.
