Tutwiler Educator of the Year Award

PURPOSE:
- The University of West Alabama’s Tutwiler Educator of the Year Award seeks annually to honor and recognize excellence in education by identifying outstanding educators in the areas of:
- Teacher (P-12)
- Early Childhood/Elementary Education
- Secondary Education
- Counselor
- Library Media Specialist
- Instructional Leader
ELIGIBILTY:
- The University of West Alabama’s Tutwiler Educator of the Year Award is open to any educator (teacher, library media specialist, counselor, or instructional leader) whose major responsibility is to work with children in a P-12 setting.
HONOR and AWARD for the UWA Tutwiler EDUCATOR of the Year:
- $500 Cash Award
- $250 Classroom Supply/Professional Development Stipend
- UWA Tutwiler Educator of the Year Plaque
- Recognition at the annual school luncheon
