• Housekeeper 

    The University of West Alabama Campus School is seeking a part-time housekeeper who will work approximately 15 hours per week, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, to clean the Campus School. This position will report to the Director of the Campus School. No benefits are available with this position.



    1. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
    2. Ability to interact professionally with all members of the University community and external public
    3. Valid Driver's License


    1. Some housekeeping experience is desirable
    2. High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the University Campus School Director, the housekeeper will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    1. Sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, on the interior and exterior buildings
    2. Be able to use lightweight machines (Vacuum Cleaners and attachments)
    3. Be able to use Industrial cleaning machines (Buffers and Scrubbers)
    4. Clean and dust furniture
    5. Wash windows (Sills and Glass)
    6. Clean building including offices, common areas, restrooms, etc.
    7. Empty trash containers and replenish bags
    8. After hours and some weekend work will be required

    Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    1. Transporting moderately heavy items at times
    2. There may be a high level of walking required in this position
