• Human Patient Simulation Assistant 

    Division of Nursing Part-Time Position 

      

    Effective Date:  August 21, 2017

    Qualifications: 

    1. Education:  Minimum of graduation from a standard senior high school.  Graduation and/or certification from a college of nursing desired.
    1. Experience:  Knowledge of health care-related technology.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with social media.  Ability to prioritize and complete projects within a deadline desired. 

    Responsibilities:

    1. Keep all SimMan supplies organized and inventoried.
    2. Produce SimCharts for scenarios based on faculty advisement.
    3. Update SimMan Software as needed.
    4. Provide basic level maintenance for SimMan.
    5. Set up simulation scenarios for simulated learning activities.
    6. Aid faculty in voicing SimMan and directing scenario.
    7. Clean up and organize supplies after simulated learning activity is complete.
    8. Keep MedDispense unit operational and stocked based on faculty advisement.
    9. Provide basic level maintenance for MedDispense cart.
    10. Conduct tutorials for entry level student on the use of SimMan, MedDispense cart and participating in simulation activities.
