Graduate International Students Fall 2014 OrientationREQUIRED: Orientation Registration and AttendanceBegins Monday, August 11, 2014 All new international students are required to participate in an orientation program prior to their first semester at UWA. Orientation sessions will begin Monday, August 11, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. in the Student Union Building Conference Room and end on Thursday, August 14, 2014 with complimentary transportation to Birmingham, AL to go shopping before classes begin Monday, August 18, 2014. Getting to Livingston We want to advise you that there is no public transportation available to Livingston from Birmingham, AL (BHM) or Meridian, MS (MEI), the closest airports to Livingston. Taxi transportation from Birmingham can cost over $200 and from Meridian, MS well over $150. Option I Sign up for Orientation and transportation from Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Livingston Friday, August 8 pickup from Atlanta Airport (ATL). Click here. A one-time $150.00 fee is required. Note: If you arrive Thursday, August 7, you will be picked up after 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time and you will add $50.00 for an extra night's lodging and breakfast, adjusted total $200.00.
