  • Admission Requirements to the Alternative Class A Program

     

    The admission requirements to the Alternative A Program are as follows:

    For all Alt A majors EXCEPT Special Education 6-12 majors:

    1. Fingerprint clearance on file with the ALSDE
    2. Passing Basic Skills Assessment Test scores on file with UWA
    3. Passing Praxis II score in the area of certification being pursued on file with UWA.


    For Special Education 6-12 Majors:

    1. Fingerprint clearance on file with the ALSDE
    2. Passing Basic Skills Assessment Test scores on file with UWA
    3. Removal of all undergraduate deficiencies (determine upon submission of application to the program)
