• 12:00   Lunch State Capitol Lawn (obtain lunch ticket at above link)
• 1:00     Assemble for ACUFP Meeting at U of A System Conference Room
• 1-5:00 ACUFP Meeting according to Agenda Items
• 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. ACUFP group supper at local restaurant (open to suggestions??)

Directions

The University of Alabama System offices located in the Alabama Center for Commerce at 401 Adams Avenue, Suite 160.  The telephone number for the office is 334-242-2950.  The Alabama Center for Commerce is located one block west of the State Capitol and two blocks west of the Alabama State House.  Anyone attending Higher Education Day can easily walk to the building.  It is a large office building with a green roof (owned by the Retirement System and occupies and entire square block.  It is bounded by Adams Avenue to the south, Hull Street to the West, Decatur Street to the East and Washington Street (the same street the Capitol and State House are located on) to the north.  If anyone is coming to the meeting but not attending the Higher Ed Day rally, they can obtain parking in our parking garage across Adams Avenue from the building.  Entrance requires a parking code, but we will not know the code until closer to the first of March.  It changes monthly.
