Open Mat Dates and Times at Hughes Gymnasium:
April 6, 2:00 pm
April 14, 2:00 pm
*Open mat Practices will be held in Pruitt Gymnasium.
Those that are interested in trying out are welcome to come practice stunting, tumbling, and anything else in order to be well prepared for tryouts.
Tryout Requirements:
Tumbling
One running pass and Standing back-handspring
Stunts
Extension (in the fight song)
Liberty/full down or Arabesque/full down
Optional stunt with up to 3 transitions.
A cheer, sideline, and fight song will be taught the weekend of tryouts. Incorporations will be made in both the cheer and the fight song.
Mascot Tryout Requirements:
Two minute skit (maximum)
*You must apply and be accepted to the university before the weekend of tryouts.
*Tryouts are closed to the public.
*Attached you will find the application for tryouts. Please return this to the address listed below by April 18th.
