The Sumter County Fine Arts Council presents The British Invasion Tribute Wednesday, Oct. 24 to celebrate music from the 1960s British Invasion Era and the American Response. The performance, held at Bibb Graves Auditorium on the University of West Alabama campus, begins at 7:30 p.m.

The British Invasion Tribute has quickly gained notoriety with fans and clients alike who are amazed that so much sound can come from just four musicians. Taking their cues from the original artists, this band meticulously recreates the '60s hits we all know and love, complete with authentic outfits. The group has recently shared the stage with legendary recording artists such as The Beach Boys and Ringo Starr.

Tickets for The British Invasion Tribute may be purchased at the door. Adult tickets cost $10, and student admission is $2. UWA students receive free admission with their student identification card.
