• School Counseling Online Liaison

    Effective Date: August 14, 2013



    1. Earned doctorate in School Counseling or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the field
    2. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, administration, and public school personnel
    3. Commitment to quality teaching
    4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    5. Demonstrated effectiveness in applying technology to teaching 


    1. Demonstrated effectiveness in working with Professional Development Schools
    2. Evidence of scholarly research
    3. Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level 


    1. Teach graduate level courses in School Counseling
    2. Teach other professional courses as needed
    3. Schedule at least ten virtual office hours over a four day period each week
    4. Participate in teleconferences and seminars
    5. Serve as a liaison between on campus and online faculty
    6. Provide input on course design
    7. Assist faculty with online course development and management that reflect best practices
    8. Fulfill other faculty responsibilities, including advising students, conducting scholarly research and participating in University and community service and service to local schools
    9. Perform other tasks as required by the appropriate administrators 

    Salary: Dependent upon credentials; includes excellent benefits package.
