    MAJOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION P-12 (Certification)

    Core Curriculum Requirements 

    Students transferring from Alabama public two-year and four-year colleges and universities should consult the AGSC site for complete details regarding Areas I-IV for all majors, including the list of approved courses for each institution. Specific requirements for students majoring in Physical Education at Alabama public two-year schools and for UWA pre-Physical Education majors are included below. 

    AREA I -- Written Composition (6 semester hours) 

    AGSC: No specific courses required for Physical Education (Certification) majors beyond the AGSC requirements.

    AREA II -- Humanities and Fine Arts (12 semester hours) 

    AGSC: There are no specific courses required for Physical Education majors beyond the AGSC requirements, but the following course is strongly preferred:
