    Effective Date: August 14, 2013 

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    1. Earned doctorate in Physical Education or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in physical education
    2. Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physical education
    3. Commitment to quality teaching
    4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    5. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, administration 

    Desired:

    1. Evidence of scholarly research and grant writing
    2. At least three years of successful teaching experience in a P-12 school
    3. Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level  

    Responsibilities:

    1. Teach normal load of 9-12 undergraduate and graduate level credit hours per semester in the area of physical education
    2. Fulfill other faculty responsibilities, including student advisement, scholarly research, grant seeking, creative projects and participation in University and community service
    3. Supervise interns in physical education
    4. Serve on College and University committees as may be appropriate
    5. Complete other appropriate responsibilities related to the total University function 

    Salary: Dependent upon credentials; includes excellent benefits package.
