The University of West Alabama’s Division of Outreach Services will hold a series of evening classes for entrepreneurs during June 5 – July 17, 2012.

These Operation Jump Start Business Planning Classes cover how to set goals, do market research, determine pricing, make the sale, understand and create cash flow projections and write a business plan — everything you need to know to start, fix or grow your business.

After the course, students will have the opportunity to meet with and begin to build working relationships with lenders about their business plan.

Kenneth Walker, who has more than 25 years of experience in starting and managing small businesses, serves as the primary instructor for the Operation Jump Start class to be held in Selma.

The six-week series begins on June 5 and continues from (6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 17). All sessions will be held at Wallace Community College Campus.

Registration is required for the six-week series. There is a fee of $50 for the entire course.
