• Students elect UWA's 2016 homecoming court

    The UWA student body has elected seven leading ladies to the 2016 homecoming court. The queen, a closely guarded secret, will be announced and crowned on the field during halftime festivities at the UWA vs. Delta State game on Saturday. Kickoff for the football game is at 4 p.m.

    Leighanna Chadwick, a freshman biology comprehensive, pre-med major from Silas, Ala., is the freshman maid.

    Guadalupe Meza, a sophomore biology comprehensive, pre-med major from Robertsdale, Ala., is the sophomore maid.

    Sherrel Keith, a senior business administration major from Montevallo, Ala., is a member of the court.

    Callie Murphy, a senior integrated marketing communications major from Fenton, Mich., is a member of the court.

    Savannah Reach, a senior biology comprehensive, pre-med major from Lawley, Ala., is a member of the court.

    Tranquil Shepherd, a senior accounting major from Greensboro, Ala., is a member of the court.

    Tiffany Willis, a junior criminal justice major from Fairfield, Ala., is a member of the court.
