    Caroline Poole

My name is Caroline Poole and I am an Admissions Counselor at The University of West Alabama.  I grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and moved to Livingston in 2010. In 2011, I joined the UWA Admissions team so that I can pursue my passion for helping perspective college students.  As an Admissions Counselor, I get to meet students and help them through the admissions process.  I also serve as a member of and advisor for the Pinnacle National Honors Society and I am a member of UWA's National Alumni Association.

It would be my pleasure to meet with you to discuss all of the wonderful opportunities that UWA has to offer.  I hope to hear from you soon so that I can tell you all of the reasons why I love UWA and why I am happy to now call Livingston my home.  Please feel free to call me or email me!  GO TIGERS!!!

What is your favorite place on campus?
I love Lake LU because I love to be around water and I also love the football field because football is my favorite sport.

What is your favorite UWA tradition?
My favorite UWA tradition is attending graduation.

What do you love most about UWA?
What I love most about UWA is that our students are not numbers. Each student and faculty/staff member are a part of the UWA family.

What piece of advice would you give to a prospective student?
If I were to give advice, it would be to take advantage of all the opportunities that are available to them as students at UWA. Get to know your faculty and peers. Get involved in student groups and organizations. Also, take advantage of services that are available for free- like tutoring!
