Apply for Housing
You are encouraged to apply for space in the residence halls as early as possible. For the fall semester, first priority in assignments is given to applicants applying by February 15th. Second priority is given to applicants applying by May 1st. You may still apply for housing after May 1st, but space will be limited. If you apply after May 1st, you may be assigned to a space on a temporary basis until a permanent room becomes available. While applications will continue to be accepted until all beds have been assigned, the Housing Office cannot guarantee campus housing to anyone that applies for fall semester housing after May 1st. Students with special housing accommodation needs must apply for housing no later than May 1st.
To apply for summer semester housing, print out the Housing Application and return it to the Housing Office with a check or money order for $130. Since the Housing application must be signed and returned with the $130, you are not able to apply for housing "on-line" at this time.
The on-line Housing application for fall 2012 is being developed at this time. If you are ready to apply for housing now, please send an email to housing@uwa.edu , requesting a housing application (Subject: Housing Application). In your e-mail, let us know if you will be a new freshman or a transfer student. Also, include your mailing address. If you do not have access to email, please call us at 205-652-3686 to request a housing application.
