Apply OnlineYou may submit your application and fee payment of $25 online or you can download a printable version, fill it out, and mail it to the Admissions Office along with your application fee of $35. Teacher CertificationUWA requires a copy of your valid teaching certification for Masters and Education Specialist degrees. Teaching certificates can be faxed to 205.652.3522 High School Transcripts Submit official high school transcripts from each high school attended. Students who are currently enrolled in high school will be required to submit their final transcript (including proof of high school graduation) prior to enrolling at UWA. This is required of all first time freshmen and transfer students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum). College TranscriptsSubmit official transcripts from each college/university previously attended. Students who are currently enrolled at another institution will be required to submit their final transcript prior to enrolling at UWA. Transcripts can be mailed to: Registrar’s Office, UWA Station 4, Livingston, AL 35470. Testing Scores for Undergraduate StudentsUWA accepts either ACT or SAT test scores. Please specify UWA on each test application (ACT code #0024; SAT code #1737). If you did not have your test scores sent to UWA directly through the testing center, check with your guidance counselor to find out if test scores are included on your high school transcripts. If not, call ACT at 319.337.1270 or SAT at 866.756.7346 to have your scores sent to UWA. At least one of these scores is required for acceptance for students without 24 transferrable academic hours (12 in basic curriculum). Apply for Financial Aid & ScholarshipsStudents wishing to apply for financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available in January of each year.
